Exhibit In Italy

Thank you to Giorgia Atenzi for inviting me to exhibit at her event in Italy this May!

The Illustration was to be inspired by the theme of a 'Circus Without Animals' and will be part of the Festival in Sardinia, Italy. The Festival itself is an educational 3 day circus themed event with music, performance art, circus acts (without animals!), Illustration stalls where kids can be creative, and all sorts of other creative workshops where you can learn how to juggle, stilt walk, etc.

Sounds like fun!! I wish I could post myself with my Illustration!!! I will just have to look forward to seeing the event online!

NSPCC Commission

I have just realised I haven't blogged about the commission I had from the NSPCC!

Unfortunately I am not allowed to share any of the artwork with anyone! (it's part of my contract!) Which is a shame but hopefully once the mail pack has been printed I should be able to share it with you all!!! :)

The commission was to design about 20 illus for a mail pack that is to be sent out around the country aimed to encourage people to donate to the charity. So it may well be popping through a door near you soon!! Can't wait to receive mine! :D

In other news I have been beavering away at some other illus that I will be posting shortly! One for a lovely little boys bedroom and another for a 'circus without animals' in Italy :)

AOI Business Master Classes 2010

The Association of illustrators are starting this years Business Master Classes on September the 1st for an 11 week course. (Every Wednesday, 6pm - 9pm, Piccadilly, London) This course will be able to provide creative individuals with the know how to start up as a freelancer. It will help with things like business plans, tax and copyright issues (lets face it, all the things us arty farty types probably need a bit of help with!) i have been lucky enough to have been picked as one of the top 50 designs by the AOI to be exhibited in the London Transport Museum from the 5th of July to the 22nd of August! The winner of the competition plus 2nd and 3rd place will be revealed at the private viewing. But im just so happy to be in the exhibition! :D

THE BIG INK is a charity fundraising event for Macmillan Cancer Support, lots of illustrators and artists, both students and well established professionals are donating work to be sold off and hopefully will raise lots of money for the Macmillan cancer support group :)

this is one of the pieces that i donated and hopefully someone will care enough for him to buy him and make lots of money for a very good cause!

the event is being held at the Amersham Arms (address above) from friday the 12th to sunday the 14th of june :)

get on down there if you can, unfortunately im at download festival!!! i wish i could have seen everything go off!

Here she is, my model for an animation i made during this year at uni, in the animation she moves her head round to look at the camera, then it zooms into her expression, then zooms back out and she slowly brings the gun round to the camera and pulls her other arm up to shoot you in the face.
